Stainless locking blade is a handy size and arrived sharp, plastic scales make for a lightweight carry. Seems to be as durably-constructed as knives costing several times as much. Back lock is slightly less convenient than some other types for a daily carry but it's similar to other Buck locking knives, very robust and intuitive to operate.

Nothing not to like in this EDC version of the classic Ranger. Stainless locking blade is a handy size and arrived sharp, plastic scales make for a lightweight carry. Seems to be as durably-constructed as knives costing several times as much. Back lock is slightly less convenient than some other types for a daily carry but it's similar to other Buck locking knives, very robust and intuitive to operate.

This is a great knife for the money. It is extremely well-made with a great design. The 112 Buck is a good knife for the money. The handle is good too, with sure grip control in wet or dry conditions. The knife is lightweight and easy to carry anywhere. I would highly recommend it. It's made in America too.
