It's an Otterbox knockoff, but in a good way. The outer case is flexible rubber and the inside is rigid plastic. It took me a few minutes to realize that the inner plastic snaps apart to insert/remove the phone, but once that was figured out it was a breeze. The "raise-ivity" on the front prevents your screen from impact, but I'd still recommend a screen protector. The clip-on holster is included and can also be used as a kickstand. My only gripe is that the outer, rubbery layer doesn't accommodate Pop Sockets well due to it's flexibility, but certainly shouldn't be a deal-breaker.
