For years I had a favorite pair of tweezers that had a nice sharp point that closed tightly around stubborn chin hair. Unfortunately they were lost and were no longer on the market, and it took a lot of time to find the perfect replacement. Even the high priced brands weren't right- they weren't sharp enough to grasp fine hair, or didn't close tightly, or were the dreaded angled point (I don't know how anyone can use angled tweezers).I bought these tweezers last year and they were not only perfect, but cheaper than the ones I tried that didn't work! Last week I lost them (it's a problem), and was glad to see that they are still offered on amazon at the same low price. If you don't like sharp points, then these aren't for you. But if you are looking for a sharp, pointy tweezer that consistently performs, look no further.

I have another set of this type of tweezer and love it for doing crafty stuff, but could not locally find another set of them that was not cheap and useless. Found these and read the reviews. One negative review said that they were really pointy and sharp, which is the point, so that sealed the deal for me! Anyhow, these are REALLY well made. They are super pointy, long enough to actually hold on, and pretty beefy. They are exactly what I was looking for, and even better than the original ones I use. I am going to order another set since they are so great, because the original ones were for actual first aid and brow plucking, but are now part of my craft kit, so I need another pair for the actual use they are for!

I know these were low cost, but even at this price, a total waste of money. The tip of these don't grab the hair. You certainly couldn't use them for ingrown hairs. The only way to grab the hair is to come at kind of an oblique angle and then only if the hair is coarse. Thin hairs just slide right through.Back to the more expensive tweezers for me <sigh>
