**Q: Will a 4x4 vinyl fence post fit over the bracket?**
A: For our application, we used 4x4 pressure treated wood which fit fine.  Then again, wood is more forgiving and easy to manipulate/hammer in the bracket if the fit is tight.

**Q: Do these bases have a "floor" at the bottom?**
A: they do and are bent to let moisture out

**Q: How rust resistant are these in wet conditions?**
A: Zero rust resistance complete garbage. The sail and post would have fallen on the car if it was there! Try something else lol!

**Q: Why are they listed for $175 a piece when i can get from home depot for $16.  wth is going on with amazon?!**
