A: Hi Laura! These adorable blocks are washable! Those international washing symbols are on one of the sewn-in labels on your Match & Build Soft Blocks. I can translate them: machine wash cold, air dry, do not bleach, do not dry clean. Enjoy hours of clean and constructive fun with Melissa & Doug!

**Q: Why do these blocks have a prop 65 warning?**
A: This prop requires businesses to warn their customers of potential exposure even if the levels are low.

**Q: Are these easy to stack?**
A: They are soft and easy to stack, as long as you teach your child to put the flap part on its side. Not all cubes have flaps. If the flaps are on top it can be bumpy, and the tower will collapse easily. There are other things to do with these harmless "blocks". The flaps are good for teaching cause and effect. (Example of and effect: Seeing an apple core under the flap.) There are cute puzzle pairs on all sides of the cubes that have a matching piece on another cube.

These soft blocks are a great toy for a baby/toddler! Babies like to knock them down, so if you want to start a giggle fest, sit down in front of a 9 month old, start building towers, and pretend to be surprised and amazed at their trickiness when they knock them over. Be sure to have your phone ready to record the hilarity that will ensue. When that baby is older, s/he will love to stack them on their own. The blocks are also sturdy and safe. A wonderful toy to give or receive!
