Great bargain kit, NOT for a beginner and/or newbie.
As noted, there are no instructions with the kit. The seller is very helpful, though. After several false starts, I found that all parts were accounted for, and I even found an extra screw that was stuck in one of the arms. Follow any of the F550 tutorials on YouTube to get this thing assembled. You will not need any other parts for the base kit. I chose NOT to use the included KK Multicopter flight controller and purchased a DJI Naza M-Lite controller.I used the blue LocTite on the threads of all screws during assembly, and was careful. Even so, I did manage to over-torque a screw into one of the red arms when mounting the top plate to the arms. The brass threaded insert broke free and now spins, so the screw doesn't tighten all the way. I feel OK with the 3 other screws on that arm, though, so I think it will be fine. The motors come with extra pieces (little silver screws and X shaped motor mounts) that are not needed. That's a little confusing for a complete newbie like myself. It took a few questions to the Amazon community, but I managed to get it all together. The landing gear is OK, but the tubes fit really tight into the brackets, and I did crack one of them. They are carbon fiber, so that's not a good thing. I used liquid duct tape (Krazy Glue) in the crack, which will hopefully keep it together. New landing gear is cheap, so I'm not too concerned. Lesson: Don't try and force things, take your time and be careful. As far as this kit goes, it's a good bargain. Mine is not up and running yet, but that's because I don't really know what i'm doing yet. Trying to get a FlySky FS-i6 to hook up with the Naza M-lite and not having much luck.TLDR Version:It's a good kit, everything is there except instructions. Take you time during assembly, watch some tutorials and handle gently.

250-50 class needs upgrades, Good bones
Good frame and motors. No directions. Flight control was not completely functional. Pitch and roll did not perform. Having to purchase another flight control.

Buy the frame separately.
The frame is great, the esc's are absolutely junk. I had to replace 3 out of 6. The flight controller is also worthless. Buy the frame and add better parts. You'll have a better build starting from scratch.

Hazardous
One of the ESC capacitors exploded when I first ran toggled the corresponding motor to spin with my DJI NAZA V2. It sprayed me with hot particles. The motor was ok as I swapped it with one of the others and one of the other ESCs spun it up with no problem. I also had several frame screws twist off during assembly. And I was NOT over torquing them. I have built several 550 class drones previously and these were the first screwed I have ever had twist off. The screws seemed to be dead soft and just twisted off without much torque. I have seen these kits around and couldn't resist the price any longer. I really wanted it to work out but no dice.

NO MANUAL
There is NO ASSEMBLY MANUAL... NONE... No Where on line. NothingNow if you have a basic knowledge of mechanics, you can sort it out. But the fit of the parts is less than perfect, So its very much a budget hobbyist solution. One nice thing is that the ESCs are already soldered onto the board

High quality components, perfect for a DIY project
I have been very pleased with the high quality components that came in this kit. The power bus connections are already soldered down which is a big plus. Be prepared to "do it yourself" as there are no instructions included. But the seller has been very helpful in answering questions and most of the assembly is self explanatory if you are familiar with drones. It's very similar to the popular F450 quadcopter.

Extremely difficult to obtain info on proper assembly.
I would give this product four or five stars, however the seller provides absolutely zero info on assembly, and.the YouTube videos are poorly done or are in a foreign language! How much effort would it take to put at least ONE SHEET OF INSTRUCTIONS in the box? I have assembled the product and it looks quite nice but at this point I need some info on circuit board connections. I don't want to make a wrong connection and end up damaging the board. Unless I find some helpful info I will not purchase from this seller in the future. *This is an amendment to my previous review. After taking a chance and going ahead and hooking up the circuit board and receiver I have reached the point where I can actually run up all the motors. Will add additional amendments as I progress. Flight testing is next. Still wish the seller would provide some basic info.

Great kit!
Overall very pleased with this kit. I will say it took me a couple trys to figure out some of the steps since there were no instructions. To save some time when building do not try and use the silver colored screws that are included in the motor bags. They are not to be used use the other Philips screws in the main bag. Also build the landing frame and assemble to the bottom plate first I had to disassemble since I did mine out of order. If I were to do this all over again I would build in the following order:1. Assemble the legs first attach to bottom plate where esc are soldered on. Put to the side.2. Assemble motors to the arms all six. Now attach to bottom plate. Make sure to tighten with the Allen key they give you.3. Run all wiring and zip tie all esc to the arms. I would also figure out your battery mounting before proceeding.4. Attach top plate. A few of the screws will be difficult on each arm but they will all go in with some effort.5. Mount electronics and wire everything up.6. Attach and balance each prop one at a time.
