The Bondi campervan awning is quick to pitch and simple to use with one single pole, great for those who need extra space for a couple of nights on the campsite. The lightest in the awning collection, the Bondi has a small pack size taking up very little room in your campervan. This fixed style awning needs the support of your campervan, so it cannot be left free-standing but the multiple doors provide flexibility along with the removable groundsheet. I had previously bought a SunnCamp Canopy 260 for this but it is a bit short for my Transit camper and it's also open ended. I've used the Bondi Low over this weekend and have been really impressed. We had a hardstanding pitch and there are plenty of pegging points to secure it safely and it kept us warm and dry in spite of the regularly downpours. The only downside was the pegs which are absolutely useless for use on anything other than soft grass but fortunately I had others with me. I used to have a normal canopy off my VW campervan but this is way better. It can be opened up to offer loads of light and air like a canopy, but we now have sides, a removable front and removable ground sheet. So it’s great in all weathers. Took me 10 minutes to put up the first time. Slid straight into my VWs awning rail and then just pegged it out. We are really happy with this.
