This book should not be legal or on the market! Obviously the author has no education in feline nutrition! All of the recipes have ingredients harmful to cats! Dairy, grains, canned fish extremely high in salt, Thai Fish Sauce!? I was hoping for some good recipes but this book is the opposite. DO NOT FEED YOUR CATS THESE RECIPES!

I bought this so I could keep my cas healthy and know what they're eating. The author has dairy in here for multiple recipes that should not be in a cats diet. Multiple grains are also throughout the book. I would recommend doing thorough research online to find great websites on grain free, dairy free cat food recipes that are hypoallergenic and are close to your cats true diet. Things like a 'tuna cassorole' for your cat - you might as well just by mainstream, unhealthy cat food. Skip the book, you'll be disappointed.

This book sits on my table every day since we ordered it, so that every morning I can read it over morning coffee, before the day gets going. For the first two days our cats refused to try homemade cat food and we had to give in and give them only factory made cat food we buy from our vet, but we had heard that this can happen, but also heard they get used to homemade after a while, days or weeks, if you just keep placing some beside their dish of store bought type catfood. Now they love homemade food and I have plastic bowls filled with different recipes in our freezer. This book is one of the greatest books I have ever bought! One of our cats got urinary tract crystals so we bought this book because our cats need more water in their diet but from their actual food and not just their water bowl. We make sure they have the medicine food from our vet. We also learned that urinary tract crystals are often caused because cats don't get enough water in their food and that they get a lot of water from their food in nature. So we just mix in half a cup of water into every recipe. We use it as a supplement to their medicine food. This book is wonderful. We love this book!
