It's a basic channel modulator. Picture quality is OK but that's likely due to being SD. I tried using two of these to put sat tv and a camera DVR signal onto the same cable and distribute via whole house audio but I think since they can only use channel 3/4 that the channels are too close together to allow for interference free viewing. Terrible interference on the Channel 3 unit, Channel 4 has only a little. I say this because I used to have a nicer channel modulator that got hit by lightning and it used to allow me to set 3 separate channels on any channel between 14 and 83. It never had this problem. I am giving it 5 stars because it does what it's supposed, it's cheap and it's RCA. I didn't expect the greatest graphics/video (and of course I knew there wouldn't be audio), but the resolution it yielded was totally low quality (even illegible in some cases like email). I played with resolution configurations but making the font too big would mess other applications.
