Is this a shielded wire?** A: Donna Marie, the reduction in cell phone radiation is _never_ achieved by connecting the handheld headset to the cell phone via a shielded cable. Cell phone headset jacks, themselves, have no provision for a shield wire connection. The vendor's claim, "Reduces cell phone radiation", is achieved because, by using the handheld headset against one's ear the user is keeping the cell phone -- with its multiple, built-in radio receivers & transmitters _away_ from the user's ear/head/brain. If you are using this, or a similar handheld headset, rather than holding a cell phone against your ear, you are _greatly_ reducing the amount EMF radiation which might be affecting your brain. In fact, any _wired_ headset will greatly reduce brain exposure to cell phone related EMF radiation. **Q: Does it have a clear sound, like a real phone?** A: It has excellent sound quality.
