My group prefers this. We can use wet erase markers for OUR characters, and then dry erase for the enemies. When we roll initiative, we can quickly throw our pegs up on the sword, and then fill in the enemy pegs. We just remember who went, and reference the intiative tracker for who's next. There are a lot of initiative trackers on the market. I don't feel that this one is a knock-off, as I've not seen others like it. But it's good to find a tracker that works best for your group. :) **Q: After removing the plastic cover from the sword, it no longer will stand up in the slot on its own. Any suggestions? my group loved using it** A: I used Gorilla Glue in just a tiny dab to permanently bond it. I had assumed that you'd need to use adhesive of some sort to hold it together securely. I mean, you end up messing with it every encounter, so not adhering it would cause issues. It's worked perfectly for my group ever since. **Q: Anyway to buy replacement flags?** A: you may be able to contact the maker directly, but not to my knowledge. **Q: If i have many monsters, can you draw on the backs of the flags?** A: You could, it would just be a lot to keep in mind. Nice! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid Buy - But Room For Improvement *by G***N on October 22, 2019* To start, this is a good buy. Lots of slots for encounters, quick setup, good fit for me. Not too expensive, looks cool, and functions well. Wonder how an LED coaster underneath would look... The main points of criticism from me comes on two items: quality of the acrylic name pieces and their staggering. The name pieces have some light burn marks from the cutting process and have notable imperfections on the surface that will collect ink. They still work well, but look rough. The staggering distance between left and right is too small for easy reading - just under 4mm. You'll have to look close to see which is on top. Staggering by 1/2 the flag height would have worked better. This is not an issue, but it may have looked cooler if the flags came out of the sword's edges so you could see the whole profile when in use with names.
