Today is day 5 of my dog on this for acute kidney failure. When I started him on it I was one day away from putting him down. He was really declining, depressed, refusing favorite foods for days, and had frequent itchiness. His misery was getting harder and harder to witness in spite of my super human efforts of giving him western botanicals and I’m not exaggerating 12 to 16 times a day since it was all going down with water, canned tripe and greens in powder form. In spite of all that he stopped improving growing more miserable by the day. I figured these Chinese herbs along with lots of prayer were his last hope. I have seen an amazing turn around which started the evening of his second dose, which is one capsule mixed in less than 1/4 c of water and syringed down. By that evening he had an exceptional appetite, eating his homemade moderate protein raw food mixed with raw green tripe. By day 2 I gave him 4 treatments with 1 capsule each time since he weighs about 40 lbs which is about 1/3 of an adult dose. Okay energy that day and itching not so good. By day 3 great day for wanting to eat, lots of running on his daily outings in the woods. Day 4 only Chinese herbs, first day no other tonics and a great day of activity and attitude. Less itching. But day 5 was so promising! Awesome appetite, awesome play day and infrequent itching. The itching btw is a symptom of toxins locating in the skin and lack of appetite caused by nausea which is common in kidney failure. I couldn’t be happier today which again is day 5. When I researched some of the ingredients I came up with them helping lack of appetite and itching so there we have it. Hopefully the herbs are also helping his kidneys get healthier. If he keeps this up I’ll have his BUN, etc checked in a few weeks. Also, I started giving him wild salmon oil twice a day along with Dr Harvey’s kidney support twice a day as well. He gets a raw diet with chitosan, no grains and can’t wait to run in the woods. My vet wanted to put him down when first diagnosed but so glad I started researching natural methods to help him.

I stumbled across this for my 14.5 year old dog with stage 2 kidney failure. I ordered it for him. Two weeks later he had his first acupuncture visit and she was happy to hear he was already on this. It had been almost 6 months since I started giving him this as well as another herb mix. I would highly recommend it. Jackson has been holding stable. I have not seen a change in the amount of water he drinks. We still can go on 1 to 2 mile walks. He has a great desire to eat tasty food...that old dog nose :) He still has not started having incontinence, which is great! The one thing this had going for it out of all the Chinese herbals I sought out for overactive bladder, this one came in a bottle/jar that was in Chinese. And while it is touted for Kidney problems, one of the key ingredients is supposed to help with overactive bladder. When I got it, I immediately took the recommended dosages (3x3 a day) and my urgency to go to the bathroom lessened so much so that I thought I had found my miracle cure. I also was able to urinate easier than I had in a long long time. And I slept for longer as well. When I woke up in the morning I noticed I did not have to go to the bathroom, and not until a couple of hours had passed did I have to go. I was so happy. And then the walls came crashing down. It has not worked since. And that could be for any number of factors playing out in my life now, with other medications and herbals I am taking. But I was a very happy camper for 24 hours and I am hoping it starts working again. But so far, for the past 5 or 6 days, I am back to going about 18 times a day. It's real tough.

This capsule formulated concentrate is how I like to take it, and feel like it is more readily assimilated. Anoit 3/4 of the bottle taken, I see noticable improvement in my Kidney Yang -I am pleased with this version of this TCM Formula.

I have an irritable bladder which gets me up at night to urinate every 30 mins for the first 4 hours of sleep before it finally gives in and stretches to every 60 mins.My research on this product indicated it could sort out my problem, however, it exacerbated it instead and I found myself heading for the bathroom every 15 mins for the first 4 hours of sleep. This lasted for about three nights before my bladder reverted to its usual pattern. I bought two bottles of capsules to give it a good chance of working but after about a week the 15 min pattern re-occurred for another 3 nights.I know that I do not have a prostate problem so whilst it might work for others it did not work for me I'm afraid!!
