Small heater, great for that extra heat when its absolutely freezing cold. There was initially a funny almost burning smell, but it was just for the initial use and quickly disappeared after opening window for a couple of minutes. Only used for about 30 minutes and room was nice and warm. In my bigger room it topped up the central heating, so I didn't have to crank up the thermostat to warm the whole house. This little device did a great job. It has a timer but not easy to figure out.l, so will have to read the manual!
