great boots
replacing the same boot after 20 years of very satisfactory use. It was good to see they haven't changed. Fit is good. I wore my old set under numerous different conditions and they never failed. after having them resoled twice they developed some leak issues. I was glad they are still available and fit and felt the same. I tried on many boots and could not find any so sturdy/comfortable. Woth the extra cost..

For $200 i expected more longevity
These were initially the most comfortable and warmest (uncomfortably so at times in an office environment) pair of boots I've ever bought to wear with my uniform. They've held up relatively well... except in the heel. No, actually IN the heel.Initially their stiffness was a positive thing, but as they've broken in they're almost unwearable now. They now rub the backs of my heel so much that they hurt all the time, not just when I'm wearing them. No, it's not my imagination - the place on my heels which hurt the most have also worn through on every pair of boot socks I own.My new pair of boots is now on order. I suppose I should start looking for more socks now too.
