Review: Works Like a Champ! - I tried to grill something the other day and the igniter on my Weber Genesis Silver B wasn't working any more. I had to use one of those gas lighter wands to get the grill going, which is irritating to say the least. So I ordered this igniter kit, and just put it in, and now everything is back to normal with the grill lighting on the first try. I feel like I just did this recently! Wrong! The last igniter kit I put in was in 2009, and 2005 before that. The grill was bought in 2001. I'm starting to see a pattern here. Every 4 years, I need a new igniter. Good thing they're only about 10 bucks. It takes about 10 minutes to put one in on a Genesis Silver B. You will need a phillips head screwdriver, and a small adjustable wrench. Once I started to install mine, I realized the grill needed to be cleaned, so I actually spent 30 minutes, but the grill is now ready to go when it is called upon. Weber's philosophy is to make a grill that will last you a lifetime, as long as you're willing to replace a few parts now and then. In the 12 years I've owned the grill I have replaced the grates a few times, the burner assembly once, the drip guards a few times, and it looks like 3 igniters now. The rest of the grill is still solid as a rock. Love my Weber grill!

Great price. Easy to install. The correct part for my 30+ year old Weber grill. This completed a full rebuild of the inside of grill, and I'm looking forward to another 30 years of using it.
