Semi sweet but it fades once the hair absorbs it. **Q: can you use your flat iron on your hair while using this oil** A: I wouldn’t put the oil on until after you flat iron your hair. Think of it like this, you put oil in a hot pan to fry French fries. It does say that you can use it in wet or dry hair, I suggest using it when your hair is dry because when I put some in my hair when it was wet it felt kinda sticky.
