I'm an addict. A friend of mine sent me a free audiobook from Audible a few years ago, and I've consumed over 50 books in the last two years. I listen to my audiobooks whenever I can find a free moment, since my commute to work is about a mile. Sometimes I'll even walk it to get some extra time in. I realized that I was wasting a lot of time in the shower NOT listening to audiobooks, and so I picked up those little rubber suction ones from a gas station one day.The problem was, the quality of those was not very good. The audio wasn't loud, and they would break after a few weeks, and I would have to pick up another one for about $5. Then the battery would die. I finally got sick of it and bought this really nice looking speaker to put in my shower.It works incredibly well! I love the size of the suction cup, because gets stuck (in a good way) to the wall. The only weird part for me is when using the + and - to control the volume, there is a fine line between volume control and skipping tracks. I just do myself a favor and keep the thing on full blast all the time. Battery life is very good, much longer than the ones I used to use. I had a similar shower speaker that died after two years. Based on other reviews, this seemed like the least expensive, comparable one. It's fairly small. The whole unit can fit flat in my adult hand. The box says the range is up to 33'. I've had other speaker that occasionally fail the distance test, but I've had this for a week so far and it hasn't missed once. The unit has the operation buttons pretty clear on the front. With other speakers, usually when powering on, there's a voice prompt. This one turns on with a drum riff which seems weird, then a series of tones when connected. The buttons are simple. Press the left or right buttons to advance or go back tracks, and hold the same buttons to adjust the volume. Sound quality is perfectly adequate for the shower. Speaking of, it's lightweight enough so the suction cup holds onto the glass door well. I haven't tried taking phone calls on it, but it happens so rarely that I'll just know when someone calls and I'll call them back. For this price, I have to say it's pretty good for what it is.

I have another Bluetooth speaker that I use quite often and works great. This speaker is waterproof which makes it nice to put in the shower. The suction cup works very well. I am just not happy with the sound. The volume doesn't get very loud at all. I bought it specifically for the shower and obviously with the water running you want to be able to hear your music.

Suction cup works in the shower, volume gets loud enough and it connects easily to the phone. I am glad I purchased this for my son!

Unfortunately, this didn’t last two months. It will no longer hold a charge and it’s never even been in a wet environment. The buttons are also weird. The + (plus) and - (minus) buttons look like they’d adjust volume, but instead the skip tracks ahead or back. It’s annoying to have a Bluetooth speaker that you can’t turn the volume up or down without going back to the device. The suction cup never worked. All in all, this product did not meet expectations in any capacity.
