Big upgrade VS factory Rancho shocks
I have a 2017 Silverado Z71 with Rancho shocks. These have significantly less body roll, and are much more responsive. Still a nice, smooth ride.

Left My Truck in Suspense
Needed new rear shocks on my Silverado as the OEM Ranchos were rusting out. Way better value with these and not sacrificing on quality components. These may be a little softer on harder bumps than the Ranchos, but overall ride quality and jounce rebound is good as can be.

Feels planted on dirt roads
I drive a 2018 Silverado 1500 with the tow package. I live on a dirt road that gets washboard constantly. I was told that my shocks were leaking during a recent oil change and then noticed that the truck's tail was all over the place on the washboards. So I decided to replace the shocks myself and decided to go with these since that are intended for stock ride height applications.Replacement was easy enough. I didn't even need to lift the vehicle. 2 bolts per side was all it took. Within 2 hours, I was all set. But I will tell you that an impact gun with a full set of extensions is probably the difference between you being able to do this at home or not.Once installed, the backend of the truck is planted on those dirt roads. I need to work to loose traction. On normal roads, it handles like the truck it is: stiff unless you have 400 lbs of feed in the tailgate. But the truck was like that brand new so, no surprise these shocks weren't going to fix that.Overall, I'm very happy with these shocks.

Good shocks
Good ride, nice look with the yellow and blue, easy install. Fit my 2015 Silverado easily, I used a small jack to install, doesn’t take much.

Rides better than ever
I’m not a review guy but I have to for this item. I replaced my stock shocks on my 2014 gmc 1/2 to with these shocks. I can’t believe the difference! The ride while pulling my boat is so much better as well, especially when there’s a dip in the freeway.

Definitely agree with the #1 rating for truck rear shocks.
Once I determined wrench/socket sizes the only difficult part was getting onto the head of the bolts. The upper bolt had limited space to work around. I worked on one side at a time removing the old shock and installing the new one them moved to opposite side. The new shocks required only slight compression to align the bottom bolt. Easy peasy installation for someone with the correct tools, and a lift or good jack stands.Performance wise I could feel the difference on a variety of road types. These rear shocks provide a smoother ride overall than OEM original shocks. I will be getting Bilstein shocks on the front done at my local garage as I don’t have a spring compressor tool.

Bilstein is worth the extra money
This is the second truck that I have installed these shocks and they do not disappoint. They make a noticeable difference in the ride and handling. Stiff enough to control but smooth enough not to be annoying. I will be getting more of these in the future.
