**Q: Can you tell me the dimensions of the shell and are these for a C4 sized bulb?**
A: I am not sure what you are referring to as the shell, nor am I familiar w/C4 designation. I can tell you that the rubber insulating, outer body form an approximate cylinder of approx 1 1/2”
Diameter, and 1 3/4” length.
The inner socket, conductive thread is the same as standard USA 110v screw in incandescent bulb that has been in use all my life. The outer waterproof part is molded together with 2 x 6” pigtails. Soldered and shrink tuned, do indeed seem waterproof at one year mark. Decent product that appears to be just what they claim. Hope this helps.

A: Not sure.used outdoors.one failed,replaced w/another that seems to be working.hope this helps.

**Q: Item purchased has 2 black wires. How do I know which wire is the neutral wire (white wire) and which is the live wire (black wire)?**
A: The easiest way is with a multi-meter.

As to the answer of OMG it doesn't matter, evidently you haven't played with dimable LEDs. Might not matter much for incandescent, but there are very much times when it matters.
