Review: Decent quality, looks nice, works well - Had it for the past 2 months and it had been working really well dispensing soap. It's all hard plastic and feels quite sturdy and still look decent. Now my kitchen counter looks cleaner without the giant bottle of detergent and the sponge sitting everywhere. The sponge holder has a remove-able rubber part for easy cleaning which I am surprised to find and it is well thought out. There's complaint in other review about strong chemical smell but if there is (which I don't remember there being any when I was unpackaging the product), it does disappear over time. Oh yeah, it does come with the red sponge that is shown in the product picture.

It is neat and definitely complements my kitchen. I have had no problems with the sponge holder not having any holes in it as it is my custom to wash out the sponge as best I can at the end of each washing. I so love this dispenser that I have reordered four of these over a period of time to give as gifts from my trip when I return home to the Caribbean. The price is just great and desertcart always delivers on time and in perfect condition.

**Q: Wondering if the sponge holder has drains? Otherwise seems the water would build up and become moldy...?**
A: No the sponge holder does not have drain holes. I make sure my sponge is not too wet. I clean out the holder often.

**Q: What material is this made from?? Is it Ceramic?**
A: Not ceramic... Plastic but solid.  I am pleased with mine.

**Q: Is there a trick to getting the soap to dispense?**
A: I have had this dispenser since 2014 and absolutely love it and have bought as gifts for friends. I fill it with undiluted dish-washing liquid and maybe with the very first pumps the liquid does not come out but after about 4 pumps voila! It's a breeze. Like I said before I hold sponge in my right hand and pump with my left.

**Q: Can you fit two sponges in the sponge holder at the same time?**
A: I use my dispenser for mouthwash and little tiny cups fit in the sponge holder, so I am only guessing at this.  It would depend on the size of the sponges and how fast you wanted them to dry out so as to not become a home for germs.

I have had this dispenser since 2014 and absolutely love it. ### ⭐ Let Down

I had one of these two years ago that I got at bed bath and beyond. I loved it so much that when my roommate stole it when he moved out we got another one, but from amazon. Slightly disappointed that when we got it the soap dispenser would stick in the down position and if you tried to finagle it back up (nicely, didn't want to break it), it broke. So now every couple days I have to take it and rinse all the soap off of it because it leaks every time we use it. The last one we had did a lot better, but this one is bad. Would return it and get another one, but I would rather get it from the store so I know it works. I guess I will hold on to this one until it is too much of a pain, wish amazon had a replacement program but all i can find for this is to return it and order a new one...
