They are comfortable for a person with flat feet as I have found lots of boots like this to have too much arch. They may not be great for all day on your feet, but they are comfortable enough for casual wear. Size seems to be spot on for the 9.5 wide. The side zipper is great for folks like me whose feet swell and have issues with regular boots. Give 'em a try.
