She is a consummate interpreter of ballads and one of the greatest exponents of the jazz vocal tradition. It is high time she received the recognition she so richly deserves.

Recorded in 1978 this is a super record. As always with Ms. Sloane the song selection is never less than interesting, the musicians first rate and Ms. Soane's singing and interpretation spot on.
