Fantastic bit of kit, reliable, easy to use recommended. Some of the reviews I read said that battery life was low and if you leave it on standby when not in use, this is true and also I found that it was very slow to find a signal started from standby. If, however, you powered off after each transaction instead of using standby mode, then it finds the signal quicker and the battery lasts longer before charging. I have hand my sum up for a month now and only charged it once and it's never failed to find a signal!

I read a mix of reviews before I purchased this card reader but so glad I chose this one. The 3G SumUp has worked perfectly every time we have used it. So far we have used it using its own sim (middle of nowhere) , connected to WiFi ( event hall ) and linked it to my phone. I’m not tech at all but really easy to use with clear instructions

The card reader itself its good but due to lack of connectivity has almost 10 transactions failed. Looks extremely annoying and unprofessional to make your customers waiting 10 minutes to take a payment and then to be told that there is no connection 😢.First time using it had some issues but afte 1 year it's all simple . Now i am doing hot spot from my phone as i need a good connection, speedy payments.If you take more than 3k a month on card you probably want to look for better deals/rates ,I am on and off trading so doesn't bother me that much .

I volunteer for a small community group, previously relying on cash donations towards our events. We decided we needed a card reader as so few people have cash on them now. This is just what we needed - really easy to set up and to use by all committee members, even those who are bit less technologically savvy. The park where we use it has a good mobile signal, and we've used that rather than wi-fi option.

Bought as I have some customers that pay by card and it’s excellent. Especially with the keypad as it means you can type the amount in and hand the machine to the customer if they need to enter their PIN number. I have a number of older customers who prefer to do this so it’s a winner for me. I also think that it looks a little more professional than the smaller machine that you have to connect to your phone. Plus a massive bonus is that it’s 3G so works even in poor signal areas. You can buy a separate printer but I just use the option of texting/emailing a receipt. Made a good difference to my work and handling less cash for the small fee is great. Definitely recommend if you need a card payment machine.

As a PTFA we needed a machine to take money for our school fundraiser. We wanted the 3g machine so that we were not relying on someone's phone. It made us so much more money as people would ask if we could take card payments and we would have missed out without it. The main gain from having this version was that whilst others at the fair struggled to get their card machines to work with their phones, ours would take payments with no fuss. Worth the extra money for the 3G. Would recommend to anyone wanting a device for craft fairs or PTFA events.

Bought this for when I’m running my market stall.Easy to use when connected to WiFi but the 3G signal isn’t great. Let me down quite a few times!

I'm very pleased with this little device. Quick and easy to use and register. The fees are very reasonable too.No need for a separate app, just connect to 3G / WiFi and away you go. I like that you can email the customer a receipt if they need one. Highly recommended.

Niet doen!! Traag, traag, traag. Klanten staan minutenlang te wachten.Op een gegeven moment deed die het niet meer, gebeld, een half uur in de wacht en dan krijg je iemand aan de lijn die je ook niet kan helpen.Ook nog eens razend duur; als een klant 100 euro pint houdt SumUp bijna 2 euro in.Niet doen!

Facile da installare ed usare,ne avevo già uno ma la connessione della SIM interna era troppo lenta x la mia zona,la linea difficile da agganciare e cadeva spesso annullando le operazioni:con il nuovo apparecchio e relativo collegamento WI-FI va benissimo,e’ veloce,versatile ed efficiente,funziona con tutte le carte,quelle vecchie senza contact si inseriscono,altre si possono strisciare,se serve la firma la scrivi sul display…insomma,sono finalmente molto soddisfatta

Wir waren für unseren Lieferservice auf der Suche nach einem Kartenzahlterminal. Über Amazon sind wir auf das Produkt gestoßen und haben uns dafür entschieden. Die Bedienung ist super leicht, hierfür müsste ich nicht einmal die Bedienungsanleitung lesen. Die integrierte Simkarte ermöglicht das mobile Nutzen überall. Das Display und die Tasten sind groß genug, so dass ältere Menschen auch hier keine Probleme mit dem ablesen haben. Einziger Nachteil ist dass bei Ortsteilen die weit vom Zentrum liegen, das Gerät lange braucht um ein Netz zu finden. Im großen und ganzen Top Gerät, erfüllt sein Zweck und das ohne kompliziertes Handling.

Ayant déja un, j'ai eu besoin de prendre suite à l'expansion de l'activité. Le produit est bien mais peu présenté des soucis de connection ( pas très fréquent). C'est une bonne solution pour des paiements CB et mobile. Connexion via puce intégrée 3G.

El cacharro es muy buena calidad y muy robusto para el día a día y el transporte sin problemas. Los botones bien robustos también. El sistema es sencillo y funcional y funciona muy bien. Trae SIM incorporada por lo que puedes usarlo en cualquier lado. Además da la opción de enviar el recibo por SMS o por email por lo que no necesitas impresora. En la aplicación de SumUp puedes ver todos los movimientos y los pagos a banco. La verdad es que es excelente y el servicio el mejor de los que he probado al tener las comisiones más competitivas.
