This is a good camera and has most of the features a home user might need. The picture is good and you can save to both an sd card and an ftp server on your network making space for recordings much more manageable. I have only given it 3 stars because its WiFi connectivity is flaky at best even with a WiFi repeater less than 15 feet away. I have had to order meters of Ethernet cable and and a new Ethernet hub in the hope that the connection dropouts will cease. Yet to be determined as I haven't got them set up yet. Good buy if you don't mind clipping meters of cable to ensure a connection.

I sent this back, was to complicated to use. Not straight forward.

Bought this WiFi booster really struggled to do anything with it. It won't connect to the website needed to set it up, the lap top doesn't recognize it so the button that you need to pop up so you can start the set up doesn't show. It is supposed to be simple to set up but I've tried for at least an hour on 6 different occasions and I'm still no closer to getting anywhere with it. The only thing it's good for is to use as a paper weight.

I was a bit dubious trying this product as it is a lot cheaper than most on the market and other Sky customers had left reviews saying Sky wouldn't allow them to use it and the equipment was rubbish. Well, I have to say I disagree! I am a Sky customer, the set up was super easy, even for me, and with having teenagers who seem to live in their bedrooms moaning about the WiFi speed and signal strength, I can now remove the cotton wool from my ears because they are happy! The set up box comes with a cable but I didn't need to use that. I simply plugged it in, followed the instructions in the screen by screen set up guide and was pleasantly surprised. Within 20 minutes I was done and that is only because I am slow. Teenagers have confirmed WiFi signal strength and speed has improved and I am amazed at how easy it was to set up. Definitely recommend it.

Set up was easy,but not convinced it works all of the time.....

I want to use this with a MacBook Air - which does not have an ethernet port (and in any case, a 30cm long cable is worse than useless.) I tried to set this up via the browser following the instructions. Took dozens of attempts to connect, with a link which was glacial. Got there in the end. Set it up, password and everything, which was about 20 minutes due to slowness of connection. All was OK, I thought. Unplugged the thing to put where I need it to be - it wouldn't show up as a possible connection, so I can only assume it does not remember a connection after power off. Of no use to me at all - will return
