Nice bilingual children's book

Got this because my son is half Haitian. His dad speaks and reads creole so he reads this to him. Cute book. In the back of the book there are a bunch of words in English and Creole with definitions too.

I was very excited to read this with my children but the translations were far from slightly inaccurate. Most of the time, I was correcting the translations myself. I don't recommend this to anyone trying to learn creole because it simply would confuse you.The reason why I decided to give 2 stars rather than one, is because in the back of the book, it actually has a question and answer part with both languages which I thought was very thoughful and a nice addition.

Wonderfully translated. Great to see English and Haitian Creole both displayed EQUALLY throughout the story. Wish there were board bilingual books available- this would be great to have in a board book format!

This is a great children's book for new readers! Easy to read in Haitian Creole or English. Interesting and we also enjoyed the colorful drawings. A great educational addition to any children's library.

This book is absolutely adorable.
