I have normal width feet, I guess, never had trouble with shoes being too narrow. Still I ordered a 7.5 based on reviews about these boots running small/narrow. Glad I did! They were loose with thin socks on, but it's cold out and I wanna wear normal socks on! And so I did and they fit great, super comfortable, I'm sure a 7 would be too tight with regular socks on. It sits underneath the ankle and the outer zip is a cool detail. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my usual after reading the suggestions from other reviews.
