**Q: do you have to use nail polish with this or can I use it just as a nail treatment for my ridges?**
A: No, it is sort of matte. I need the polish over it.

**Q: Uv light needed? Also does it come off with just regular polish remover?**
A: No you don't need a blue light and it comes off with regular polish remover.

**Q: Does it make color coats more opaque? I need to cover a bruised nail and just color isn't doing the trick.**
A: Well I had a bruise and I used this and nail polish on top and you couldn't see it .  I used Essie's neutral and pink line and it did a good job . But if it's really purple you might want to do 2 coats of it or stick to pastels with it but it's an awesome product .
