They pulled and pushed easier than anything I've experienced before. There is a bonus extra rubber piece in the stopper so it pushes almost all of the remaining fluid out. In a 3cc I had about .04 wasted and in this one I couldn't even register the left over oil. I believe it might be worth buying these even if they are more than another brand just due to less loss. The tip is to insure complete use of medicine as it pushes out all contents by fitting the syringe and needle precisely. In the video I’ve set the plunger at 0.5 cc and pointed at the first wiper.
