Review: Updated to 5 Stars - Original- I received this with an Echo Dot and was excited to try it. Initial setup was simple and the light worked for just over a month. Now Alexa says "Light isn't responding" and I have to manually turn the lamp on and off. I've tried the Five rapid on/off reset. It blinks to confirm the reset, Alexa finds the light again, but still says the light won't respond. I was going to be 5 more of these but I'm glad I didn't. Waste of time and money. Update- Make certain the bulb is set up on the standard 2.4Ghz network and not your router's 5G network. The bulb will work intermittently on the 5G network. I had my router set to automatically broadcast only the faster network based on number of devices connected and determined that the bulb was failing only when the 5G network was the solely broadcasted network. Since changing my router setting to simultaneously broadcast both networks and setting up the bulb on the 2.4ghz network, I've had zero issues whatsoever. These are a great value and work as advertised. Much better than the Feit Electric branded bulbs.
Review: Love these bulbs! - I recently bought an Alexa Dot and love the convenience it offers. I find i play music more over Alexa than i do my system in the adjacent room (with several remotes to work it). I received one Sengled bulb with my Dot. It connected to Alexa so easily and quickly i now have it on a daily schedule managed by Alexa. I then purchased 2 more lights but they wouldn't connect and i realized they were not bluetooth enabled and so returned them. A day later my new bluetooth enabled Alexa Sengled bulbs arrived. One connected easily the other one i put in my bedroom would not connect via Alexa trying to discover it. I then went to my Alexa app on my phone and it was there but still not working properly. I did what the instructions say to do if you have difficulties connecting - i turned my light on and off quickly several times and then it would start flashing. I tried connecting several times this way and it finally worked via the app. You can then go into your app and edit the name of Light one or light two to whatever makes sense to you. By the way, you can ask Alexa to go in whisper mode so if your partner falls asleep you can whisper to Alexa to 'turn off bedroom light' and she will whisper her confirmation back to you as the light goes off. Very cool!

Original- I received this with an Echo Dot and was excited to try it. Initial setup was simple and the light worked for just over a month. I haven't fully integrated this Sengled bulb into my daily lighting setup yet, but I did give it a thorough test to see how it performs. The 'S1 Auto Pairing' feature is no joke—as soon as I powered it on, my Alexa device recognized it almost instantly. It’s truly a plug-and-play experience, which is great if you don't want to deal with complicated hubs or third-party apps. During my test, the connection was stable and the voice commands worked without any noticeable lag. The brightness is solid for a smart bulb, and it responded perfectly to dimming and switching on/off via the Echo. Even though it’s sitting as a backup for now, I’m confident it’ll do the job when I decide to swap out my current bulbs.
