Norse Tradesman Handcarved Wooden Odinn Figurine - Packaged in Viking Gift Sack

I don’t like to have things on my altar that aren’t from a natural source (wood, stone, metal, bone, etc) so I really didn’t want a resin idol. This Odin was a great price, the wood is beautiful and it’s very well carved.

This carving looks a bit crude, but it isn't too bad. The wood is not sealed or protected in any way, so the burl doesn't stand out. I'm hoping it will look better once oiled. The size is good for a talisman or small altar. I like it, mostly. I would have preferred they use Runes for Odin, but.....
