Review: Adapter works, bands seem strong, tightening is a bit weak - I bought this because I recently purchased the Fifine K690 Microphone, and a boom arm. Unfortunately, because of the strange attachment shape of the K690, I had to find an adapter, as the shock mount I initially purchased didn't work. This one did. Yay! It's hard to find such a specific adapter, so I was glad to find this one. Granted, I was a bit hesitant to spend nearly $25 on this ( I was expecting closer to $20 initially), but when you're looking for an oddly specific part, you take what you can get. The bands seem fairly strong, though I keep my mic upright, so other people's may wear out quicker. It's nice to have a little space between the mic and the shock mount, as it allows for me to keep my cable off of the table and keep it from bending. The only reason that I'm not giving this product 5 stars is because the part you use to tighten the mount to prevent it from bending up and down is a bit weak, so we'll see how well it holds up over the coming months.
