Beware of delivery
I'll start off by saying that the desk is lovely, well-constructed, and meets our needs...at least so far. We've had it for about a week. That said, the delivery process was awful. The delivery company refused to deliver the desk into our home and were planning to leave it (fully assembled and in a large crate) on our front walkway. We had to frantically pull together some neighbors to help get it in the house. The delivery company also didn't take away the crate, so we had to pay to have it removed during trash day. So, free shipping ended up being not so free. And white glove delivery was non existent. I would definitely recommend the desk, but make sure to make other delivery arrangements before purchasing. Or, find a furniture company that provides delivery...into your home. This is the first time I've ordered a piece of furniture that the company did not make arrangements to have it delivered into the home and set up in the appropriate place. Very disappointing.
