But you have to be CERTAIN that you buy your DSi from an AMERICAN outlet. I made the mistake of going for the 'deal' and ended up with a Gameboy from the U.K. I did question Nintendo and was informed that the Gameboys are designed to accommodate the wattage output for each region. So I couldn't buy a US adapter as I would probably destroy the battery. So, I sent that one to a friend from the U.K. and ordered another. I now have a DSi XL that is US rated (120 Watts and not 240 Watts that is European).
