I am an experienced diver and was taking him on his first dive (a discover program through a dive shop), and also planned a few snorkels. The quality when it arrived was excellent and I felt comfortable putting him in the gear. The snorkeling is 5/5.However, I bought this set partly for the bag. I love the bag. It broke on my third time using it. All I did was pick it up and the strap broke.
