It connects on both sides, but the placement of the connections on the guitar make it to where the strap needs to twist and be put on face first at the neck. This strap does not allow you to put on backwards, so doesn’t work on that guitar either. (see pics) So, I ended up putting it on a Strat. Works and looks great! I think this strap is more for an electric than acoustic. So if you need one for your electric I would recommend this one. If you’re wanting one for an acoustic, this is not the strap for you.
