Great book for teachers to use!
This is a great book for anyone, but I have been using it with my English language learners at school. It has only one word, "treat", but it is used as as statement, a question, with an exclamation point, etc. throughout the book. The dream sequence is humorous and brings up sleeping and dreaming, which can be hard to explain to an ELL student as it is an abstract concept. This purchase well worth it.

Great fun for kids and dog lovers alike!
SO CUTE! My three-year-old loves this book! It's more of an interactive story - I read the word "treat" in different voices and my son enjoys it! The illustrations are fun and fantastic. It's a very lively, engaging, and amusing book. Silly and perfect for kids and dog lovers alike! Highly recommend.

More great illustrations...
Loved her first book: Ball. This has great illustrations like the first, but storyline was a little the same idea. The kids liked it, but Ball is still the favorite.

Too cute!
An adorable book for folks who don't mind it not having any words but "treat." The pictures are beautiful, the expressions telling a clear story. I love to read it to my little girl, especially because the dog so closely resembles our always-searching-for-more-food pup!

Hope children learn how much treats mean to a dog and that teasing is not an option.
