I always had trouble with the string head and they don’t sell a replacement stringer. So I tried this attachment. It works great! It comes with precut strings and you can buy pre cut or cut your own. They are very easy to replace. Much easier than the bump stringer. It is better than the origional Troy built trimmer I had. It fit perfectly with the new Toro power head I have been using for a few years. It has a single piece of trimming line and came with about a dozen extras so I won't be messing with that annoying spool anymore. My last one was a curved shaft which I think I prefer, but this is a reallly good trimmer and does a good job and is well made. And as a string trimmer, it works very well.
