You can either plug and use straight out of the box, or go into its configuration page and the UI spells things out quite easy, or you can enrol this into the Omada Controller which was a very seamless process. Just one click to enrol. It's fanless, so it's quiet, and 4 POE ports are enough if you're just getting started in networking and want a small switch that goes the extra step without being overwhelmed by all the choices. TP-LINK has poor product naming and versioning but after a lot of research, this one ticks all the boxes.
