I have severe heat intolerance which is only made worse if I'm exposed to the sun (I have MS). I got this shirt specially for this time of year when the temperature jumps up higher and faster than ever before and I needed protection from the sun since I knew I'd be spending the next month of weekends demo-ing and then rebuilding a sizable backyard deck (about 500 sq/ft, more than enough for a single person).Between this shirt, a huge straw hat that I also purchased here on Amazon and one of those guaranteed to fly away in a whisper of a breeze pop up canopies I was a able to get some serious work done regardless if the sun was beating on me at high noon or trying to cook me with its long long rays at almost sunset. Temps at last couple days have been in the high 80°s withe the "real feel" being in the mid 90*s, not even remotely the type of weather i look forward to let alone being outside in it from sun up to sun down.The shirt wicks away moisture pretty well and if you're lucky enough to catch a breeze the evaporative cooling feels very very nice. As an added bonus, the mosquitos stayed away from me (I ordered the white shirt)!I can't speak for how long this shirt will hold up (especially while doing construction) but the seams feel well made. I'm planning on ordering a couple more just to have on hand as I'm 100% happy with this buy.

I normally would wear a medium but bought a large based on reviews, at 5'11 and 190, this is fitted, not too tight or too big.Washed well, no need to dry, it is soft, light and even in extreme heat it helps keep you cooler than most shirts, which was a huge win while blocking the sun in long sleeves.Highly recommended!

Comfortable to wear while working out of doors in the heat. One caution... I have worn XL (extra large) for a long time. This XL is more like an XXL. When I buy again I will try a Large to see if it is more like an XL.

Material quality is what you would expect from a budget shirt - could be better. Stitching appears to be the weak point. But for $14 it's pretty good. Light weight and gives good sun coverage. Fit is nice.

I wasn't sure about using a long sleeve shirt with a hood out working in the sun all day but this thing has saved my life(possibly). It really does keep you cooler, especially when it starts to get wet.

I am a walker. Every morning you can find me out early walking the neighborhood.. Our subtropical sun is brutal on our skin in the summer time. The material is light weight and whisk moisture beautifully.

These are great shirts. The fit is perfect and the colors are great. The material is breathable and very comfortable and durable. My husband loves them to wear all year round. Material is cool and gives great sun protection

This doesn’t have to be used for fishing. It keeps the sun off you. It’s lightweight and I keep buying them.
