At first I though this might be due to the glue residue left on the metal panel. After scraping it away with some hydrogen peroxide I reinstalled the screen, but the problem persisted. My hypothesis is that this is due to the poor insulation of the digitizer. Compared to the original one, the light of the digitizer is emitting direct light onto the home button connectors. On the original screen, the black cable coating was protecting the lower part of the phone from this light. Regardless, this is the main reason why I would NOT recommend getting this screen. - The screen color is bleak and blue-ish in comparison to the original.
