## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it have the swivel or pivot feature?**
A: It doesn't have a swivel or pivot feature, however I just got mine and mounted it and just checking it out at home I found that you actually can pivot up and down a reasonable amount, and I was actually able to pivot it a good amount as well.  Didn't measure, but probably around 20-30 degrees worth, which would translate to many moa's and a good amount of distance at range.  I had a bipod with swivel and pivot features and it never really locked in like I would have liked, so I actually like the way this one feels more.  First impressions are really high.  So far I can't tell the difference between this one and a much more expensive 'famous maker' one I had.  Will be taking it out in the next day or two and can't wait.

**Q: Can a sling be mounted to the attached bipod? I don't want to give up my sling to mount a bipod.**
A: The part of the bipod that attaches directly to the sling mount has holes drilled into it to allow a sling to be attached to it (you can see the holes in the product photos near the tension screw). Unfortunately, the holes in mine are slightly too small to accept my sling. I don't know if this is an isolated defect for my particular bipod, or if the manufacturer had their specs wrong and machined all the bipods to incorrect specs.

**Q: Would tho bipod fit on a springfield saint ar 15 5.56 rail?**
A: This bipod comes with a weaver/pictatinny mount adapter so if your fire arm has either of those rail types, it will fit. It requires about 4 slots on a picatinny rail (just an estimate).

**Q: How do i attatch the rail mount to the bipod itselfl?**
A: Took me a few read-thrus and some searching to finally understand how to mount the bipod to the rail adapter. Loosen the thumbscrew on the underside of the bipod until the plastic tube up top comes loose/off. Once that's done, you'll see two small studs on the arms that then will insert into the holes in the adapter's swivel stud.  Get everything lined up, then re-tighten the thumbscrew. Now you can attach the adapter - with the bipod - to the rail on your rifle.

Straight out of the box, I'm impressed with the overall feel of this bipod. It doesn't feel cheap, nothing seems to be overlooked, and no corners seem to have been cut. I had this unboxed and mounted to my AR within 5 minutes, but only because I looked at it for the first 3 minutes! I'd love to give this 5 stars, but I've only had my AR propped up on my kitchen table with this bipod so far. I'll update my review once I've taken it to the range and properly used it. The legs have six height positions and are spring loaded. When the release button is pressed (each leg as its own button), the legs shoot out and fully extend. If fully compressed is considered position #1, then when in position #2 or higher, the springs don't assist in extending the legs any more. The springs only assist when the legs are in position #1. BUT, the legs move very freely and will extend open easily with gravity from position #2 up to position #6. This is not a complaint by any means, just letting you all know how the legs work. The springs seem to have great tension to keep the legs sturdy when up or down, but aren't so tight that they are hard to use. I'm not impressed with the little "keyring" that keeps the locking mechanism in place. I can't say that there is anything specifically wrong with it other than it just looks undersized and weak. I'm not sure why the keyring is there other than to keep the locking mechanism from falling into itself. It's hard to explain, but you'll understand once you see it in person. I wouldn't ever attach a sling to this keyring, but it probably will do the job of securing the end of the locking mechanism just fine. This would not be a reason to prevent me from buying this bipod. Like I said, I'm impressed with it so far, but the only action it's seen so far is propping my AR up on the kitchen table. I'll update my review once I have a chance to take it to the range and use it.
