It is water tight enough that a good agitation with a small bit of soap and water in it made a lot of suds. Then just rinse it all out with water. **Q: What is it made of? Is it soft silicone or harder plastic?** A: It is made of a hard Plastic **Q: how to adjust shewee ?** A: There are numerous videos for use on YouTube. A person should practice with this device a few times in the shower beforehand. Without proper practice, leakage could occur.
