It is indeed noted on Graph Tech website that this part number (PQL-6011-00) is taller than PQL-6010-00, but it’s always badger to have more material to remove than not having enough height. I’ve always been using TUSQ nuts. With proper cut, tuning stability issue is minimum with those angled headstocks. Review: Easy to shape, good string contact, no sticking - You can't get much better than a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, IMHO. I replaced the cheap plastic one that came pre-installed on a LP style kit guitar with this nut, it took less than an hour to sand this down to the correct height and width. I stuck it down with a couple of drops of Weldbond and I was done.
