Review: Very nice Raymarine remote MFD - I installed this inside the cabin of our sailboat so that I can monitor wind and depth without going out to the console. It is a very versatile instrument and can be setup to display any of the data that is circulating on your network. It does most everything that the Chartplotter MFD can do, except it has no chart, and no controls for autopilot. But it can show AIS targets, speed, depth, apparent wind, true wind, peak wind gust, boat speed, engine parameters, and etc. (If that data in on your network.)

**Q: Is this coming with a Seatalk spur cable ?**
A: si, 20cm

**Q: Does this 170s include the masthead unit, through hull traduced and itc5 box? the whole package is $1,399 at my raymarine dealer.**
A: no. only display 170s.

**Q: can this replace p70s ap control head? The orriginal that came with the evo kit let in water and fried**
A: No, you need a control head for the autopilot.

**Q: Will it work at hi speed**
A: Define high speed? 
I have used this for 6 months now and the refresh rate has never been an issue.  Observable changes to the boat are seen on the display at the same time.
