I realize that this series is based on a Neil Gaiman idea and not written by him. However, that is not the issue. I enjoyed the adventures of Joey Harker in this alternate universe series and could even make the leap at accepting some of the science. Anyone who reads science fiction understands the leap although they may think of it as something else. It is ones ability to accept science fiction concepts and science in a way that one can accept it as is or maybe be willing to accept it with a little wink. I just had to make too much of a leap in this book to make me truly happy with the series. I do not want my opinion to negatively influence others.
