Somehow I managed to get it all put back together and working, but the original feet that cover the screw holes wouldn't re-stick, so I ordered these and they fit perfectly.

I tried using the old ones, and they did for a time, but I needed to get a good new set of skates. I use my mouse on a 3M pad - these glide over the pad with the perfect amount of friction. Not so low that you sneeze and your pointer ends up in the next county, and no so high that you feel you just arm wrestled The Rock by the end of the day. Also, you get two sets (in case you bork one up) and the price was worth the risk.
