I wear these daily as I live in San Diego where it’s almost always flip flop weather. I have them in 5 different patterns but the black ones are my favorite and I’ll wear them daily for 6-8 months until the arch support starts getting softer then buy a new pair and move my older ones to my beach-shoe or gardening-shoe collection . If you don’t wear them daily or don’t need super-firm arch support, they should last for years. I’ve gotten my 75 yo mom and a bunch of friends addicted to these shoes too. Please read the enclosed instructions in the box and start out wearing these just a short period each day until you get used to the arch support. Maybe an hour a day for first three days then gradually go up from there. That’s very important to get used to the support if you’ve been wearing shoes with very little arch support.
