There was a slight new neoprene smell just out of the bag but dissipated quickly (without washing). I plan to use this while snow blowing it seems no matter what direction I face the shoot, the wind likes to blow it back in my face. The mask keeps your face warm but not excessively hot. I got this to add some entertainment/excitement to the process as people after the initial shock seem to embrace it. If I don't think it is the appropriate to use it I can reverse the mask to the all black side (see both pictures). I'm not sure this is a negative but it is worth noting that the eye section is not two separate sections but rather one section that gives the appearance of two when the mask is put on just right. Again refer to the photos.
