Like past ECCO foot wear they are very comfortable and durable. Prior to buying this pair, I tried the highly rated Solomon hiking boots but found the ECCO’s much better. First off I ride a motorcycle year round, it is my primary driver. First time I wore these boots I got caught in a pretty big downpour. These boots held up nicely completely waterproof. My feet were nice and dry. They are warm without being too warm and seem to breathe nicely. I like how the top of the boots around the ankle are not bulky. They are extremely comfortable both in terms of cushioning and overall fit around your foot. The traction is excellent. They are a little slippery at first, but once you wear them around for a couple of days, they have great traction all types of surfaces both city and trails.
