While most marine paints won't stick very well, TotalBoat is specifically formulated for aluminum, making it ideal for your jon boat, duck boat, flat bottom boats, bass boats, canoe, dinghy, pontoon boat, trailers, houseboats, and other aluminum boats or boat parts, such as railings and spars. It also comes in camo colors that you can apply one layer at a time for a custom camouflage pattern to improve concealment in natural settings. Or mix colors for a more realistic blend for your particular hunting or fishing area to conceal your duck or hunting blind, tree stands and ladders.Apply directly to metal as a topcoat, or use as a primer and apply the topcoat of your choice. This easy-to-use water-based polyurethane can be applied directly to prepared substrates with a brush, roller or spray gun. No need to etch or prime first, saving time and effort. You'll also finish faster because Aluminum Boat paint dries extremely fast; overcoat in just 1 hour at 72 degrees F without sanding between coats. Before the final coat, wait 12 hours, sand lightly and remove residue. Let the final coat dry for 48 hours, and you're ready to put the boat in the water.TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Paint can be used above or below the waterline on boats used in fresh or salt water. Chromate-free finish has a low VOC content of 75 g/L, very little odor, and cleans up easily with soap and water. Note: TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Paint does not have antifouling properties. For antifouling protection use TotalBoat AlumiPaint AF antifouling bottom paint for aluminum boats. It can also be brushed or rolled on. I HIGHLY recommend taking the time to scuf the aluminum with 50-100 grit sandpaper using any tools you may have or by hand. The primer will adhere to the metal much easier and will last much longer. **Q: Can this paint be used as a bottom paint (Outside bottom under water)?** A: Yes **Q: Box was left at door and sat over night in 20 degree weather. Label notes "not allow to freeze". I opened and was not visibly frozen. Good?** A: Visibly check it for changes. Will it mix? If so use it. It is good paint, I have some left over in my shop from a boat project and I would not be afraid to us it as long as it blends together. **Q: what color is for tracker boats? Olive drab?** A: Hey There, Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we do not designate colors based on boat, however, looking at the color of the tracker boats that are green, Olive drab does seem to be the closest. ## Frequently Bought Together - TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Paint for Canoes, Bass Boats, Dinghies, Duck Boats, Jon Boats and Pontoons (Army Green, 1 Quarts (Pack of 1)) - TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Etch Wash (Quart) - TotalBoat-520120 TotalTread Non-Skid Deck Paint, Marine-Grade Anti-Slip Traction Coating for Boats, Wood, Fiberglass, Aluminum, and Metals (Light Gray, Quart) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fi/products/345097872-totalboat-aluminum-boat-paint](https://www.desertcart.fi/products/345097872-totalboat-aluminum-boat-paint) --- *Product available on Desertcart Finland* *Store origin: FI* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
